The Up-Turn

Madvillain’s Madvillainy has been on constant rotation for the past few days.  MF Doom and Madlib created an immensely creative and unique album that sounds like no rap I have heard before.  When I saw that Mos Def did a cover of one of my favorite tracks from that album, Accordion, I was very excited.  Mos Def does a great job with the song and stays true to the originals feeling.  I was also surprised to see that all of the audience members knew the track and sang along with it.

Madvillain is working on a new album and they have already released the song Papermill above.  I am very excited for the new album and hope it comes out sometime soon, download Papermill here.
